Here is the video entry for the 2008 Innovation Tournament. Creating value with rubberbands in just 5 days.

    Cool, Saket! So how does this thing work? Is there some kind of contest to decide who has created the most value, or is the idea for just everyone to do as much as they can and see how far it goes?

    Its this event that is part of entrepreneurship week at stanford. Last year they tried it for the first time and gave teams a pack of Post-It notes and were told to generate as much value (’value’ open to different interpretations) in 5 days. a film crew was like “cool can we film teams around the world doing it” and they ended up making a film about it.

    so this year they tried rubber bands. you work in teams and people do all sorts of things.

    anyone can form a team anywhere in the world and compete. all submissions are youtube videos.
